Services
Through our extensive database, we are able to access public records,
such as nationwide motor vehicle searches, real property records,
corporate filings, criminal court filings, as well as verify addresses,
assets, obtain Social Security numbers and run skip tracing in order to
locate individuals and businesses, etc.
Additionally, we maintain a direct computer link into the New York State
Department of Motor Vehicles in Albany, New York. This allows us
instant access to all Department of Motor Vehicle records on a 24-hour
basis.
Bar coding of paper files allow quicker access to our filing and index
systems. Our office has state of the art computer systems, and these
sophisticated systems afford us the opportunity to closely control all
assignments and monitor their progress as well as the location of a file
at any given time.
Additionally, an automated diary system ensures prompt and timely
handling of files, thus, all assignments are handled expeditiously,
resulting in a significant cost and time saving factor.
We are a cost-conscious firm, fully realizing the budgetary restraints
confronting companies in today’s market. Particular attention is
devoted to holding investigative costs to a minimum, thereby avoiding
unnecessary time and expenses. All of our invoices include a complete
and detailed summary of time and expenses. Likewise, our reports are
clear, concise and timely and can be submitted via email in TIF or PDF
format.
Claims Adjustment
Casualty - Prompt contact with immediate onsite investigation serves to
reduce our clients exposure and curtail costs. We make every effort to
keep cases away from litigation and promote fast and sensible
settlements. In those instances where the case proceeds to trial, we
are at defense counsel’s disposal to perform trial preparation services.
Construction -
Complete and thorough investigative services for all fields of
construction with a full staff of experienced investigators intimately
familiar with Labor Law. We are highly successful in locating and
placing the responsible parties on notice. Pursuit of the responsible
carrier or self-insurer continues until they have agreed to assume the
indemnity and defense of our clients’ insured. In those instances where
our clients’ insured is the responsible party, we work closely with
assigned defense counsel, performing necessary follow up investigation
and stay by their side through the trial process.
Automobile - We are well versed in accident scene and liability coverage
investigation, first and third party property damage claim handling and
handling of any resultant bodily injury claims to a conclusion. We
also work closely with defense counsel for those cases where settlement
cannot be reached or should not be considered. We are adept at
identifying those cases where referral to special investigation would
prove fruitful.
No Fault -
We handle all aspects of No Fault from inception of the claim to its
conclusion. Expenses are minimized through assertive handling and
setting up of IMEs and EUOs, where appropriate. Most bills are fee
scheduled in-house. Summons & Complaints are handled expeditiously
and we are available to attend arbitrations as necessary.
Transportation - We specialize in motor Truck Cargo and specialty
freight claims with expertise in salvage disposition and pursuit of
subrogation possibilities. We also have extensive knowledge of
short-term auto rental investigation with proficiency in uncovering
additional sources of coverage.
Special Investigations
Our insurance related surveillance professionals have extensive experience in
investigation and surveillance. Most operatives have law enforcement
backgrounds and all operatives have a proven history and track records.
We are fully aware that all surveillance footage and reports are subject
to the scrutiny of the legal system. All of our reports and footage are
of the highest quality and caliber to withstand such scrutiny.
Trial Preparation
We offer full trial preparation services to include in office review of
defense counsel’s files, preparation of subpoenas in state and federal
venues, locate and contact of witnesses, transportation and housing
arrangements for witness appearance at trial. We are licensed to conduct
service of process throughout the five boroughs of New York City.
